How We Price This
These ranges are computed from Burch Contracting's own pricing formula (base cost per square foot, adjusted for material, complexity, and site conditions, plus a fixed 20% overhead & profit — see services.html for the full comparison). The real-world data source behind the base rates themselves is not yet published. Updated by C. Scott Burch.
How long does a remodel take?
Timelines vary by project: a bathroom remodel typically takes 2 to 4 weeks, a kitchen remodel 4 to 8 weeks, and a whole-house remodel 12 to 20 weeks. Structural changes, custom cabinetry, and long-lead materials can extend these ranges.
Do you handle whole-house remodels?
Yes. We handle comprehensive whole-house renovations involving multiple rooms, structural changes, and systems upgrades, as well as individual kitchen and bathroom remodels. Every project is managed personally by Scott Burch from demolition through final finishing.
Do you provide design, or do I need to hire a designer first?
We work design-build, handling design, demolition, structural work, electrical, plumbing, and finishing under one roof. You do not need to line up a separate designer and contractor — we manage all phases so decisions stay coordinated and on budget.
